YOU KILLED MY WIFE
-
“The author's writing style is commendable as he manages to keep his readers on edge constantly anticipating the next obstacle or clue. The action packed scenes, the multi-layered emotions displayed the charcters, Pig and Mort's friendship, the twists, the use of the gadgets - spywares and hacking, everything makes this book a perfect FIVE STARS READ!! I absolutely RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ALL MY THRILLER-LOVERS! THIS ONE WILL DEFINITELY ROCK YOU OUT OF THE WORLD!!!”

“I found the book 'You Killed My Wife' to be quite intriguing, particularly the sections about spy gadgets and observation techniques. While I enjoyed the story, I did have some questions about the seemingly unlimited supply of resources that Mort had at his disposal. Additionally, I found his behavior towards women to be confusing and troubling. Overall, I would highly recommend this exciting and engaging read to others and am eagerly anticipating the release of the second book.”

“Exceptional character driven story - very enjoyable. Great plot lines and very engaging characters – both good and bad – to entice the reader. I really didn’t know what to expect, as I got deeper into the story. Attention to detail is definitely appreciated by all readers and the author did a fantastic job of explaining all the moving pieces used to move the story along to a very satisfying resolution. I definitely recommend this book.”

“Wow! That was a wild ride! This book had a lot of things. Intrigue, adventure, humour, human interaction and really well-developed characters. I didn’t feel like any of them were “filler” at all, each individual personality fitted the story really well. The story was gritty and gripping and the dialogue was one of the strengths. A really solid read.”

"You Killed My Wife is the first book in what I suspect is going to be a series of books by George Watson. It quickly became a book I couldn’t put down, with unexpected twists and turns. I am looking forward to the second book (hint hint)"

"A fast moving crime novel, set in Brisbane and Sydney. It has echoes of Queensland's recent political history, mixed in with high technology, corporate crime, corruption and flashes of Australian humour, which make an entertaining story, and very hard to put down!"

"The story is full of amazing, unexpected plot twists, and interesting bits of Australian slang and humour. The compelling characters drew me into their lives, and when I got to the end of the book, I did not want it to be over."

“Mort has just returned home after military duty. First he wants to find out what happened in his wife’s accident. When he meets up with an old friend, they decide to start a crime agency where they will monitor companies' security systems. It’s a very interesting read. There is a mix of actions, cybersecurity, relationships, and justice.”

MORTICE: JUSTICE MORT STYLE
-
“I really enjoyed You Killed My Wife so I was eager to get back into Mort's world. I absolutely loved reading Justice Mort Style, if I'm being honest this is my favourite out of the two novels. The writing in this book had me gripped, I really like the style it's written in from Mort's point of view and it somehow made me feel more connected. I still have questions and there's still a mystery surrounding Liz, I'm intrigued to see if we get any answers in book 3. I can't wait to read it!!”

"I enjoyed the first book, a different kind of story so I was keen to read this also. I wasn't disappointed it I think is better than the first one, the author getting into his stride maybe. There were a lot of characters in the first book as there are in this but they are more easily indintified this time around. As before Mort and his ex army mate are kind of latter day Robin Hoods setting the world to rights sometimes with rather a lots of fisticuffs but that is fine in the context of the story line. Well done."

“Another amazing story. I love these characters so much! I love that it followed on from You Killed My Wife with Liz's death, but also how there were other little side missions going on, too. I still love Mort's humour and cheekiness. Pig with all his drones, Bertie and Charlie. I like how Maria was in it more and has become 'one of the boys'. Also, Suzie and Jenny sharing Mort and Pigs office space and them working together to bring more mortice. Overall, this is one of my fav series, and this author is becoming a new fav of mine. Can't wait for book 3!”

The author has a clever way to make you care about the characters by weaving exciting vignettes through the main storyline. The author left nothing to chance when crafting the different situations and events – the attention to detail was extraordinary and one of the things making this book so enjoyable. “Wilton gives us new characters which I put up there with Mort and Pig as my favourites. I especially adored Uncle Albert and I hope to see him in the next books. I loved how the action was bigger and better, but being in America it's to be expected. This was a slightly different style to the previous novels as the narrative follows the characters on vacation and touring America. I would recommend this series and I look forward to reading more of this Mort and the Gang."

“Mortice In America for me felt bigger as in more action, the gang felt like they had grown as team and the task showed just how well this team is together. I love all three main characters, I just love the dynamic. I loved the introduction of Uncle Albert. This series just keeps getting better and better, I really look forward to reading the next installment."

"Another good read from A.J.Wilton as Mort and his cohorts travel in America and Canada . Good descriptions of the countryside and the various places they visit. Of course they sort out a drug cartel as they are very professional and are almost invincible ! A good light read."

"Mortice in America" masterfully balances intense action with emotional depth. Mort's dedication to justice, his loyalty to friends, and his struggle with past traumas create a multifaceted character that readers can root for. The story's pace is relentless, yet Wilton takes the time to explore the personal lives and relationships of the characters. This blend of action and emotion makes for a rich and satisfying read."

"John has done it again, I can't wait for Book 4 to hit the shelves. Book 3 is another great read, mixing the Invictus Games in Canada with the skills, he and Pig are so good at ....and giving us a slice of their personal lives makes a very interesting mix."

“A J Wilton never misses! "Mortice in America" is a thrilling ride from start to finish. The book's protagonist, Mort, is a larger-than-life character whose vivid former military experiences lend authenticity to the high-stakes missions he undertakes. Wilton does an excellent job of blending suspense, humour, and drama, making it a compelling read. Highly recommended for fans of action, adventure and plot twists. Wilton's once again makes it difficult to put the book down!”

“I really enjoyed this 3rd instalment of the Mort and Pig series, Justice Mort Style. This one wasn't as action-packed as the last two but did have quite a good scene towards the end, as well as on the highway! This one was more inclusive of Mort and Pigs' love interests, Suzie and Stacey, and they are such added bonuses to the overall story and Suzie is a badass driver, as you will find out in this book. Overall, it was a really fun, action-packed series that doesn't get much credit. It is definitely one to check out!”

MORTICE: HAMMER DOWN
-
“Non stop action, great storylines to keep you on the edge of your seat! This is another masterful story by one of my favorite authors. It reads like fiction but could be factual. Wilton makes the reader wish Mort, Pig and their world actually existed. When you pick up a book and become lost in the story, it’s the ultimate sign of a great author. This was one of those books for me. The attention to detail and the masterful planning by the characters making sure nothing is left to chance is the hallmark of this amazing storyteller."
